Proverbs 15:31-32

The ear that listens to life-giving reproof

will dwell among the wise.

Whoever ignores instruction despises himself,

but he who listens to reproof gains intelligence.

i pray i've been a better & supportive listener to my family & friends,

especially when they had been in need of a listening ear...

rather than ignore or turn a deaf ear on them.

i pray i've been open to advice when given,

and had not been stubborn or too proud to accept other opinions...

gosh! i do pray to be a better listener to others and not to myself!!!
