RefLeCtiOns: 17 woNdeRfuL daYs toGetHer -- paRt 2 (MeLb)

Day 10 --

Left Syd early that morning and arrived in Melb just before 8am!!! I'm so so SO happy to be Melb again ^^
He had an exhibition thingy to attend to for work so technically, the trip to Melb was an official company thingy.
Checked-in to Holiday Inn and was soon picked up by the people he was suppose to work with on the exhibition (his clients apparently..). Spent the rest of the morning at the Exhibition and Convention Centre opposite Crown's.

Only in the afternoon did we get time to ourselves.

We walked to the City for lunch at..... *drumroll*........ where else but Pancake Parlour!!!

I LIKE!! It's so yummy! Heeee! But the servings were huge! So we skipped dessert and walked over to DFO after lunch (to work off those calories :p).

Hurhurhur! DFO!!! O^^O We walked round the place TWICE. Went into countless numbers of shops. Spent quite abit there... cannot resist Levi's Jeans almost 50% the price of what you'll normally get back in SG. Woohooooooo!

** Cirque was in Melb with Varekai!!! I saw the all-too-familiar blue and yellow tents from across the Yarra River and went all excited! Squealing in delight!!! But the tickets were sold out for the days that we were in Melb!!! :( so we could only take pictures outside the Concession Tents.**

Day 11 --

Spent the morning exploring Queen Victoria Markets (read: shopping, eating, spending). Saw this loooooong queue for hot donuts at the Markets and didn't hesitate to join the queue to find out what's sOoooo good about 'em. Haha! The SG-mentality... got queue? Just join. Find out what it is later.... Must be good de... or better yet... FREE! Haha!! Anyways, the donuts were goooood! Piping hot, sweet, jam-filled... ^^ i like sweets! But he prefers Krispy Kreme.
The rest of the day was spent mainly aimlessly walking around the City... talking... taking in the sights... talking... nua-ing at the numerous Gardens that Melb City has... talking......... aiya! Basically we didn't care where we were actually going. I think we were more absorbed in talking... talking... talking somemore........ o.O oh ok, we did take pictures as well ^^ but really, most times we didn't care where we were going or doing, we just wanted to cuddle and chat! I like!!

Day 12 --

Rainy and cccccccccOld day. Yucks!

In between worrying about work-stuff and making calls to his boss, we spent a lazy morning at this 'fab magazine/coffee place in the City! Mag Nation! Coolness!! Chanced upon this 'lil 2-storey cafe that basically has mag.s mag.s and morrrrrrre mag.s!!! Give me a cuppa and i can easily stay there the whole day just browsing thru' all that mag.s! Love love love such places ^^

Went round and round on the City Circle Tram. Heee! Free mah! Just hop onto it and enjoy the ride around the City... take in the sights lah!

Went to Crown that night. Look-see only! Both of us don't gamble anyways so... yea.... see see look look ^^
