tHere'S nO pLace liKe hOme

For the first time since the last week of Feb, i'm home on a weekend...
And boy does it feel gOOooood to be home!!!
I woke up to brekkie the sister brought from the market - Porridge! Canto-style!! NICE!
Took my time reading the Papers from cover to cover...
Played with the kids when they came over after lunch...
Kicked back on the couch doing more reading till i fell asleep =P
Watched plenty of telly when i woke up...
Threw on a yummilicious moisturizing mask and napped a little more...
Had dinner by candlelight because we were doing our part for Earth Hour (Sign up. Switch off. Make a Difference.)
......
Basically i did nothing but chill today =)))
I IS HAPPY!!!

Earth Hour.
Boy am i glad SG participated in this beautiful event this year.
I can still remember the first time Earth Hour took place in Sydney...
The sight of the beautiful Sydney Opera House with its' lights dimmed...
And Sydneysiders gathered around by candlelight at The Rocks/ Botanical Gardens/ Circular Quay area.
All in the name of pledging commitment to reduce global warming.
Although i gotta say, not many peeps i know here in SG actually bothered to "switch off" for the Hour today... well, guess all i can do is play my part, and pray that in years to come, they will too.

Fred called late last night.
Some time after 0000hours this morning actually...
I was lying on my back, on the mat in the living hall, just talking crap with him for almost an hour...
And it felt like those days when i was back in Syd... living @ 3/21 Anzac Parade, Kingsford... and he was over my place late at night... and we were kicked back with a beer and just chatting away about...... stuff... i guess... anything and everything really......
I miss those days... it's been a year since i saw Fred! Didn't even see him during Convo last April cos he was in Brissie when i went back to Syd!
