Wedding-Related: Ang Bao Preps'

so i know the Red Packets normally get prep.ed a couple of days before one's actual wedding day.
but cos i've been helping Yuan with her wedding prep, i can't help but (mentally) write up our own list of Red Packets to prepare for now.
can i just say, i had no idea so many Red Packets needed preparing for :p
off the top of my head, here's our list:
  • Vecce.MUA
  • Darren.PG
  • MC.VG
  • ?.Driver
  • Louis.Boy who opens Car door
  • Claire.Flower-girl
  • Louis.Page-boy / Ring-bearer
  • Junesza.Baker
  • Jie-meis
  • Xiong-dis
  • Church Choir
  • Celebrant for Holy Matrimony
  • Jerm & Ele.Readers
  • Jaime & Shaun.Helpers for Church Reception
  • ?.musicians
  • ?.emcee
  • ???
and these are just the ones for Nov 12!
*faintz
see the "?" above? means i haven't thought of who to rope in. haha!

so.
back to Red Packet prep.

went to the bank this morning.
withdrew a whole lot of money in tens, fiftys and hundreds.
for the parents and myself.
was sat there in ma's room stuffing Red Packets in the afternoon.
so many people to consider when giving 'em!
and we gotta consider the amount of time (and effort) that particular person put into helping with the wedding preps when trying to determine how much to give.
waraoooooo.
can just stuff $20 into each envelope or not?
hen duo hao consider leh -_________-

oh, and you know something else you gotta think about?
the type of Red Packets to use!

i was tasked to go pick up some suitable envelopes for the parents yesterday.
i was kind of hoping to find some like these:

but after going round Bugis and Chinatown, i gave up and stuck with the simple Shuangxi (double happiness) ones.
very simple (read: plain) :ppp

think i might have to start looking at Red Packets the next time i'm in China for work.
