met the Lodge peeps in the City for dinner

17 peeps came!! woohooo!

initially thought it was so going to be a headache arranging this dinner gathering (what with the peeps at Lowenbrau saying no to our reservation for 17; the lousy weather ---> rain = no pavement seats for 17 at the Spanish Rest. opp World Sq. etc....)

but it was all good at 民俗村 =)

I LOVE KOREAN FOOD! YUMMAAAAAY!!!!!

while a few of them left after dinner, the rest of us walked to Darling Harbour for waffles & ice-cream!

its so so SO pretty there at night... even the rain couldn't stop us wanting to take pictures along the way. ha!

no other waffles & ice-cream place beats Gelare... but i had a great time with those peeps who turned up.

gotta love fun, warm, chatty peeps like Joanna, Cindy, Bunny, Jon & Joe.

and the quieter but just as fun guys - Heidi, Alan, Hunt...

*i don't see how the service at 民俗村 is bad.... the waiters who served me were all good! even my request to keep 4 tables for me at the very last minute ^^ they were very accommodating. no 'black' face. no 'no! cannot!'. nods, smiles, 'yes yes'.... haha! i'm a happy customer =)

**i think its 'cos i wasn't unfriendly with them in the first place... like i wasn't all hoity-toity and demanding and slanging =P ha!
