Winter Wonderland???

The day started off real bad actually...

rain, rain, more rain...

winds, winds, stronger winds, more strong winds...

thoughts of NOT attending the Ball did cross my mind more than a couple of times during the day >.O

my poor 'lil Hello Kitty brolly got blown sOOOOooooooo bad... :( i'm not sure if it'll survive much longer..!

and for the 1st time ever, i experienced what it meant to be 'swept away by the winds'! cos i really DID get blown along the Uni. Walkway. NO KIDDING!!! if Eelin was here she'll have to be tied down with bricks at her ankles before going outside... heee! the winds were that strong O.o

anyways,

i made it to Joanna and Carrie's place after TAHM5011 final exam, like 落汤鸡.

got ready in 30 minutes,

got picked up by Henry (Thank God he drove over; i CANNOT imagine if the 3 of us had to try and get a cab in yesterday's awful, awful weather!),

arrived at the Ferry drenched again...

well you can hardly expect our poor brollies to be able to take that kind of battering from the awful, howling winds at the Harbour??!!!

once inside the Ferry, it was nice and warm =)))

the theme was Winter Wonderland, and i have to hand it to the Events deco peeps... i thought the place looked really really pretty!!

except! it was a tad bit too dark at the tables and i could hardly see what i was eating (not to mention take photos off the food, like last semester's Ball) :p

entertain last night came in the form of a Belly Dancer! wOOoooooo!

other than that, it was pretty much alot of exchanging of hugs and air-kisses when you make your way around the Ferry, bumping into people you didn't get to see during the semester, who miraculously appears on the last day of the semester (!!!), take photos, hit the dancefloor, take more photos, blah blah blah......
