in today's homily, Fr. Chong made comparisons between the highest mountain on Earth - Mt. Everest, and God's highest mountain... of LOVE - Mount Calvary
Mount Calvary... the place where Jesus Christ was crucified
Where he suffered, and died... for US... to wash away OUR sins
there was talk of how people scale the Earth's highest mountains... the challenges and obstacles... the perils and all... but yet, Mount Calvary, something apparently barely two-storey high! Oh how difficult it is to conquer THAT mountain.
hmmm....
oh, on a slightly different note, though still in relations to it being Good Friday and all... its' been raining since two-ish. as usual. just like any other Good Fridays.
