Xi'an - all that i saw and experienced in 3 days.

Due to heavy rains, i was pretty much holed-up in the hotel most of the time.
Sigh.
My second trip to Xi'an.
Three full days there.
But all i saw was:
- the Bell Tower Hotel.

- the Bell Tower (which so happened to be right across the street of the Hotel).

(shot from my room. see the grey skies? and horrid traffic?)

- my agent's office.
- a couple of schools/ tuition centres.
- the Xianyang Intl Airport.
Every time the taxi went pass the City-gates, i thought to myself, "how cool if the weather permits, and i can go explore... climb the walls and walk around the City...".
Bah! Wishful thinking lor......
The skies there were grey. From air pollution i reckon.
Plus it rained. And rained. And rained.
With the rains came floods.
And then there was the horrible HORRIBLE traffic.
Cannot tahan.
I was browsing through some tourists mags and guidebooks while at the Hotel the other day.
Am convinced the countryside will be much MUCH better - clear skies, green pastures, fresh air :p
Maybe, just maybe, one day, i'll take time out to venture outside of the City.
With the Boy.
:)
Not without the Boy, most definitely.
We'll go here:
Museum of Qin Terracotta Warriors and Horses

Cuihua Mountain National Geopark

I bet he'll like this place :)))

Huaqing Hot Spring

No where near the City i think. Haha!

Hoooookays... enough daydreaming.
Abrupt end.

***update: just remembered that i did manage to go, see, "conquer" 1/4 of the City-gates/walls. on the third evening. haha! took a quick 60-odd minute walk from south gate to the erm... west. i think. am convinced i want to do that rent-a-bicycle-and-ride-round-the-walls-like-any-tourist-would-do thingy :)
