oh, then i finally got round to polishing my flute (while i was watching telly).


OMG! you have no idea how long i've not polished it =P


just look at that little bit of BLACK 'spot' on the polishing cloth there.

so neways, decided to bake the cake instead of brownies... seeing as it was the healthier option =))) no eggs, no sugar (milk in its' place)...

we polished off the first cake in less than 20minutes. hurhurhur! we were halfway through the second cake before i remembered to take a picture of it =P

celebrations started thursday after work with the girls :p too much frog's legs porridge, too much durian, too much alcohol!!! oh oh! then there was the fab jazz muuuuusik @ Bellini's... and HOT KOREAN GUYS @ Boiler's!!!! *drools*

then a 'birthday brekkie' at the office with the peeps friday morning.

then an afternoon out with the kids!!! **happiness**

and drinks + supper @ Esplanade, then Holland V.

on saturday there was another girls' DAY out --- this time with the sisters and Claire!! brekkie @ TCC and shopping @ Bugis, then Haji Lane.

a spot of window-shopping later (read: oOoohing and aaaHing over pretty shoes!), we parked ourselves at the lounge @ InterCon., sipped on our 'tinis, talked... talked... talked and talked some more =)))

we went to Fort Canning BlackBox Theater this morning to catch The Tales of Three Marias

written and directed by Jay Espano, its a play (in Tagalog) about three domestic helpers in SG.

their experiences...

their joys...

pains...

the sufferings...

the relationships lost and found...

nothing too heavy or mind/brain-busting for a Sunday morning.

just a nice, touching insight into the lives of these tireless women who sacrificed much, leaving their loved ones behind while they travel far away to work...

all in the hope of getting more money for their children... their family...

glad i went to watch =)

won't have known about it if weren't for Jay really...

had the pleasure of working with Jay on the Au. Auditions thingy most of last month.

he's cool!

he has a really amazing voice!!!

he's one of our Musical Theatre grads see?

and so neways, he'll be seated there next to me in the office... both typing away on our computers... and then he'll start singing =)

and he sings the most amazing stuff off musicals.

not your average commercial pop fluff mind you!

very, very, very, VERY nice!!!

with the Au. Auditions now over, he's off to do his own thing now.

i'm actually gonna miss him!
