我要看电影!!!

once upon a time, i frequented cinemas practically every week.
that was some five, six years ago...
the then bf and i were young, we had just started working, had plenty of time on weekends and weren't exactly wise with our spendings... we must have spent heaps of time and money going to catch movies.
as i grew older (oh horrors!!), i guess i changed somewhat... at least where movies and cinemas are concerned =P
these days, i am much too restless to sit through 90 - 120min in the cinema, doing nothing but stare at the screen. the 'multi-tasker' in me needs to be doing something with my hands (like painting my nails... or helping the mother fold the laundry that's brought in... anything!). in short, i find it hard to focus only on the movie and nothing else =X the ridiculous ticket prices are another reason why i cut back lots on movies at the cinemas. i am also very annoyed by movie-goers who have no manners wtf! mobiles go off... blardy kids making a hell lot of noise... those idiots who think they are the movie directors instead of the audience, and go on and on talking to their neighbour (friend) about what shit is happening etc etc etc wtf!!! plus, the horrid smells of food that some people sneak into the cinema!!! UGH! honestly, popcorn and sodas are fine... but burgers and takeaway boxes of food!!! how in the world did those manage to get past the ushers and into the cinemas???!!! wtf! blardy ushers not working right?
so, unless something really interesting comes along... something i really, really, REALLY want to watch as SOON as it hits the cinemas, something like Harry Potter (yay!) or the very recent Pixar movie UP, i'd rather wait and get DVDs =) and then watch 'em movies in the comforts of home. i don't really mind not catching 'the latest releases' and all that stuff anymore.
having said that, i am now so looking forward to:
- The Time Traveller's Wife (check out the trailer here)
- My Sister's Keeper (check out the trailer here)
read both books a while back. loved them to bits! i cried buckets though -________- actually i cried heaps just watching the trailers! yicks!!! how to sit through the movie huh?
am not sure if i'll go catch 'em at the cinema or not though..... will probably go only if The Boy or Yuan*2 goes with me.
hmmm.......

they say i'm a sucker for pain to go into another LDR after the last one.

well, they're right...

but i never said LDR(s) were easy.

and i know i had a choice not to go into this.

i want to go through with this though... simply bcos i've grown to know u and love u more and more each day.

God grant me the courage and strength to stay positive, keep the faith, and let simple pure love see us through this period of wearing distance between us till we can be together.
