we were THIS close to the windmills!!!

it was absolutely awesome!!

was reminded of windmills when re-watching Jay Chou's Secret the other day...
remembered seeing some, far faaaaaaarrrr away off to the West along the expressway, in the direction of the beach.
made up our minds to go in search of 'em... and so we did!! on Saturday ^^

with no idea where to go, we drove along the expressway till we saw teeny windmills a great distance away; they were so far away they looked like miniature ornaments on the hills -_-

turned off the expressway and kept driving in that direction, past farms, fields, teeny dusty rundown half-deserted villages, went off the main roads onto the dusty, little lanes less travelled, met a kind ah-pek (on an old bike so dusty and rusty-looking it amazes me it still runs) who offered to ride in front of us to lead us to the windmills... :)

and THEN! we found ourselves RIGHT AT THE FOOT OF THE WINDMILLS!!

stepping out of the car we could feel the powerful winds generated by the windmills! and the roaring sounds of 'em "churning" away!!! AMAZING!!!!!!

this is definitely a 'First' for me --- First time EVER to come sOOOooo close to windmills :)))

drove past them on the way up the winding roads around the Sun Moon Lake earlier that morning...

about 2 hours later, at our last stop around the Lake at the teeny village centre called 鱼池, we saw them pull up into the carpark of the 'jetty'.

that dog was so absolutely obedient!!

he didn't once move from the bike when his 'papa' got off to chat with the other ah-peks around the carpark...

not till his 'papa' called out to him to get off -- to which he got onto all fours on the bike (on his own!) before leaping off onto the gravel grounds and trot off to join his 'papa'.

such a cool 'father and son' sight eh?

barely 2 months after i went to chop off 3 inches of my hair, it has grown BACK again!
like, it's loooooong again! and because my hair is growing so fast, the curls are going going gone (soon, neways).
do i HAVE to go for another haircut again before the end of this year??

i've heard of friends' whose hair takes ages to grow... how come mine grow soooooo quickly??
is it something i'm eating? i eat well leh.... hmmm... maybe tOOOooooo well? been having lots of yummy healthy soups and dumplings (of all kinds)... oh and lots of chicken chop?? this is ridiculous! does what we eat really affect our hair growth??? o.O

(near)balanced with fried fish with black bean sauce, eggs and veg - albeit the non-leafy type o.O
i have absolutely no idea how anyone can say they have no time to cook themselves a decent meal. this is waaaaaaay better than IndoMie lah!! duh!!!!
