... my plane coming into T2 for landing...
... seeing 婷's face plastered to the glass panels at the Arrival Hall, desperately trying to spot me, then waving like mad when her eyes pick me out from the crowd...
... seeing that my Welcome Home Committee includes 妈咪, 大姐, Claire and Louis tOOOOooooo!...
... when Claire doesn't hesitate to come hug me when told "二姨回来了, hug hug!"...
... when i see 'Ling!!!!!...
... coming home to my cosy 'ol room, still VERY cluttered wiv junk mind you (WAHAHA!)...
... stepping into 妈's bathroom for a loooooong shower...
... realising i've got nothing to wear from my wardrobe, but PLENTY of 婷's stuff fits me to a TEEEEEE! wooHOoo!...

Spring ( the season) :- the transition period from Winter to Summer... the time when our days get 'longer' and the nights, 'shorter', because we get more daylight with the Earth tilted more towards the Sun... when snow (not tt we get any in City of Syd) melts, sun shines, flowers bloom, bulky winter coats get packed away, out comes the shorts & mini-skirts, pile on the sunblock, head for the beach...... you get my point ya? it should be the start of all things gOOooooood!
so why the hell has it been raining every other freaking day!!! its NOVEMBER! in the Southern Hemisphere! it should be bright and sunny and beautiful outside EVERYDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

when i woke up at 5:30 this morning it was a freaking 8.3 degree celsius =.=
yesterday there were reports of SNOW and HAIL in Victoria!!!
today in NSW we have yet again, reports of bushfires..... and the blardy winds are NOT making conditions favourable for fighting these fires lor.... damn! this freaky climate change gives new meaning to "blow hot and cold" eh??

WHAT THE ???!!!!!!!!!!!!! Develop a whole marketing plan in a 3-hour exam paper??????????? blardy hell! worth how much? 5 miserable marks!!!!! we took the whole semester to prepare the previous marketing plan for the group assignmt loh! and that was worth 30% of the whole course assessmt OK! what was Nina thinking!!!!!!! *roarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
ok.... now im feeling slightly better........... *bleak*

2: After the paper, Anson picked up Veronica and i.... we went to grab Bubble Tea from EasyWay at Kingsford O^^O i left them to have their 二人世界 dinner while i took a sLoooooooooooow walk home, cutting thru Uni, stopping 3 times across various parts of campus to chat wiv ppl i bumped into on the way up to Upper Campus. i was walking XTREMELY sLoooooooooowly loh.... *bleak*... took me abt 40min to walk fr Lower to Upper Campus jz now... haha! apart fr stopping to chat (gossip is the more appropriate word! HA!), i was jz enjoying the evening breeze and my very yummy Peach Green Tea (wiv Pearls yes! NO MILK thank you very much!) ... and i tot to myself: Why does Bubble Tea always taste so much better when im not having it in SG??? hahahah! really! not kidding la... remember when i was in Perth.... WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! Utopia's bubble tea!!!!!!!!!!!! BEST! i lurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrve the Mango Green Tea! can taste (and see! and chew!) the mango flesh in my tea OK?! and their Peach Tea tOOOOOOOooooooooooo! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! i LIKE!!! now here in Syd, i cnt get enuf of EasyWay lah... WAHAHA! bubble tea nvr seems to taste as nice in SG now.... =P

3: i m such a .........*(#&^#$& ....... i honestly think i cn b quite weird de loh..... *bleak*
when i was saying bye to Veronica, i suddenly tot: this might really be the last time i see her here in Syd and get her company.... she's leaving liao.... i m so gg to miss her.................................
and my nxt tot was: so sad!!!!!!! i need a hug!!!!!!!!!! and i really wanted to hug her loh........

these were the yummy-licious German food we had at The Löwenbräu Keller last week O^^O very nice! food was good, bier was better, atmosphere was great, company was da best!

i will SO MISS them when they leave Sydney... =( 1 semester wiv them is too short a time lah... *mega sigh* just when i start to know them better and can relax and enjoy their company, its time to say auf Wiedersehen...

Tai-tai?

We were classmates from Standard One to Four.
When i moved away we kept in touch with letters (snail-mail you know? envelopes and stamps...) ... then emails... then the once yearly phonecall during CNY...
Over the years we went on to do different things... i finished poly in SG, worked, came over to AU to study more...... she finished school, started work... we both went thru the usual relationship headaches and heartaches......
As the years past, we kinda just lost touch....
Recently we started chatting more oft on MSN.
Reason being, she's not working... not studying... she's not doing ANYTHING actually! She's in Canada... with the bf...
Her days are basically spent lounging rd home waiting for him to return frm work... how tai-tai-ish eh?
I normally chat with her in the mornings... that's when her bf is not bck frm work yet...
The other day i asked what she does there... "make breakfast for him" she said...
Wow...
That's it??? Easy life eh...
She commented i'm too independent... she once said after i told her my plans to study as much as possible, and that i didn't neccessarily need to be in a relationship NOW to be happy, that i was scary... that i was so independent and too unlike her... too ambitious... that i was scary...
It just got me thinking....lots....
Is that what people think when they see me now? That at 26 i'm back in Uni doing this Masters... not seeing anyone... when i should be holding a stable job... happily attached... making plans to get married.... blah blah blah............. so since im not doing that im somehow not following the norm...? its not right?
I admit i cant see myself settling down anytime soon... there's so much more to do! im not done studying... not done trvlling... not done spending time wiv Claire and Louis! i hvnt yet decided on what i wana work as or where to work in... heck i hvnt even decided if i wana stay or go!
As much as i admire and even envy some friends who are happily attached or settling down, i dun see myself being happy wiv that... contradicting eh? yea im a Gemini... im full of contradictions.....
Sheesh.... im really not making sense am i? Too much on my mind... She just got me thinking wiv her comments....
Im not born for a life of a tai-tai... haha! yea... that's the only conclusion i cn come up wiv now.... i wana study and make my own money.... much more exciting no?
